About Tigermom
We are a creative kitchen offering a set menu served in sharing style. The dishes are inspired from the Asian kitchen, and we are passionate about using organic, seasonal ingredients from local farmers as well as high quality imported goods from Asia. We offer a unique “Chilli Pairing”, where we make and experiment with all different types of chilli ferments, sauces, oils etc. made to match each dish. In our kitchen, you’ll learn our eccentric style of blending cooking techniques from all over Asia with modern and quality driven perspectives. Our restaurant vibe is fun, quirky, lively and friendly. We work with natural wine, locally brewed beer and we make cocktails inspired from good byproducts from our kitchen to support our sustainability goals.

Passionate about quality, organic and sustainable gastronomy

Interested in learning to work with Asian flavours, and execute techniques within the Asian kitchen

Someone with a sense of urgency and who thrives in a fast paced environment

If you have culinary education and/or experience as a chef, it’s a plus, but passion and a positive attitude is most important
Your role – chef de partie

Preparation and organisation of mise en place for your section

Cooking, plating and finishing dishes during service

Maintaining a clean and organized work place

Packing, storing and tracking produce

Being a team player and chipping in where you are needed
Details

Full time is 37 hours a week over 3-4 days, including evenings and weekends
